Photo #2: Fog over the Peel Valley

by Anna Blanch on August 23, 2008

It is surreal being above the fogline. Taken at sunrise on a foggy winter morning overlooking the Peel Valley in New South Wales, Australia. The colour of the sky is an incredible blue unlike anything I have seen anywhere else in the world. I used a very slow shutter speed but hand held with the hope that the slight blurriness would evoke a sense of how bitterly cold the morning air was as I took this photograph.
