Photo #6: A Gathering of Galahs

by Anna Blanch on September 28, 2008

Late afternoon gathering of galahs. There would be over 50 in these trees. Galahs are pink and white with grey beaks, are native to Australia, and they have been know to learn to mimic human speech. Whether you love or dislike their call I certainly miss hearing it, in conjunction with that of the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, of course.
