What Writers can learn from Lincoln

by Anna Blanch on July 22, 2009

A former pastor of mine – i was going to say old but he is not old, at least not enough older than I am to open that can of worms – wrote this appropriately short post on Lincoln’s Gettysburg address a few months ago and I thought i’d share the link.

Con writes about the Gettysburg address and other such speeches. Unlike many Americans (Con is an Australian like me), Lincoln’s address is not a speech we have drummed into us from the time we are 7. An excellent preacher himself Con writes about what preachers can learn from ol’ Abe.
