The street art of Paris is not limited to the open air, but rather the art extends even to the Metro stations. There are some famous ones and I’m hoping to visit some of the more famous stations to take some photos over the next couple of weeks, but right now I have some shots of the ceiling at metro La Fayette. This collage style mural is an example of situational art. Sometimes this type of temporary installation is projected on the ceilings or walls of the metro (an example can be seen in St Germain de Pres).
