Integrate your social networks: Join Goannatree on facebook

by Anna Blanch on May 28, 2010

Not only will your worlds collide, if you so choose, but this is a great way to interact with other readers without leaving a public comment (which at least a few of you have indicate you are not entirely comfortable).

I’ve been using the Networked Blogs application for Facebook for a while so readers of Goannatree who are not people I also know personally have another way of being notified of new posts but, as the recent privacy discussion has shown, I have become more and more sensitive of the ways in which I might also be asking others to give up privacy in order to interact with me. As such, I’ve decided to move away from the 3rd party platform on Facebook and to set up a Facebook “Like”/Fan page. I wasn’t keen on the Fan metaphor…so I am glad they’ve changed it.

So connect with us there – who knows i might even be able to come up with a book or two to give away!

While I’m on the topic – you can also follow @Goannatree on Twitter!
