Scholar-Bloggers in the Spotlight: Female Science Professor and the Little Professor

by Anna Blanch on February 20, 2010

I came across both of these blogs recently and I had to share. I’m like that sometimes.

Female Science Professor
Musings of a science professor at a large research university. While this blog is Science centric, naturally and understandably so, it is squarely thinking and exploring academia. Based in the US it is concerned primarily with that model. Well-written, thoughtful and with a dynamic readership that is actively engaged in dialogue. This is a blog to read regularly and outisde the Inside Higher Ed blogs, this one is one to read regularly.

The Little Professor
Things Victorian. Things Academic. This was a recommendation from a friend from my Honours Cohort. And boy was she right. This is a great blog about literature (especially Victorian literature, which is one of the reasons why I bet Jen knew i’d love it!). One of my favourite regular features is the Little Professor sharing her latest Bookshelf additions – everything from ebay to second book stores to amazon!
