I put out a call at the end of October for favourite Australian Christmas poems, carols and songs for the article I was writing for CASE Magazine on Christmas Poetry. The suggestions came thick and fast. But, the one that made me quite gleeful was when Colin Buchanan himself suggested that he might send me the newly re-released Aussie Christmas With Bucko & Champs.
The double CD set arrived in Scotland recently, in plenty of time to add a little Australian flavour to my Advent festivities and Christmas celebrations!
Though Colin sent me this CD on spec, I thought I would share it and the fact that it has just been rereleased after a few years! It definitely puts a certain kind of Aussie Christmas spirit into my cold, dark, Scottish days.
