The lecture theatre was full to overflowing for Professor N.T. Wright’s inaugural lecture as a University of St Andrews Professor. Many people have asked whether a copy of the text is available or whether it was recorded.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t recorded – it was delivered in a wonderfully fluid oratorical style – which is a real shame.
But, I can happily say that the text of the lecture is available from the Institute for Bible, Theology, and Hermeneutics (IBTH) at the University of St Andrews.
The text of the lecture “‘Imagining the Kingdom: Mission and Theology in Early Christianity’ is available to download here.
This lecture will be of interest to those exploring biblical studies and gladly, theology, imagination, and the arts.
